Golf Instruction School Offers Tips for All Players
By Dave Kettner

People of all ages and all playing levels are always looking for ways to improve their golf game and one method becoming more popular is attending a golf instruction school. Many offerings exist that offer course from one and two-hour lessons to one to five-day courses, teaching everything from the basics to how to become a golf team coach.

While the teaching professionals at most golf courses offer classes for golfer of many levels of talents, the instructors that teach at a golf instruction school have the ability to not just play the game, but to recognize the abilities of the individual as well as determine what is needed to make them better players. While it is always easier to teach a person who has not played before, or those who have not developed bad habits, an instructor at a golf instruction school can analyze the problem and get the player on the road to become a better golfer.

Many players can hit the ball well off the tee, and possibly even strike the irons with distance and accuracy, but lack any order in their short game. A golf instruction school can help smooth out the wrinkles in all phases of the game.

School Offering the Best Help

While many beginners attend a golf instruction school to learn all aspects of the game, there are some players who may only need help with part of the game. From driving off the tee, chipping, putting and hitting out of the sand, a golf instruction school can help and it is important to choose the facility that can help with the specific problem.

For example, a person who can hit the long ball off the tee attending a golf instruction school that teaches all phases of the game will find the driving part of class a waste of time and money. Conversely, a person who cannot find the fairway off the tee but has putting down to a science will lose time while attending classes on the greens.

There are many golf instruction schools that focus on one particular aspect of the game and finding the right one to meet the needs of the golfer should be easy enough, provided they are willing to do their homework. Additionally, if the player is not going to take the time to put what they learn to practical use on the golf course, paying for and attending a golf instruction school will be a waste of time and money.
